Louis Vuitton 2010 Fall Handbags Collection
Just when we thought we’ve seen every iteration of the logoed Louis Vuitton bag, they go and make a brand new one. And another one. Marc Jacobs channeled the fifties era in his Fall 2010 Louis Vuitton show and the models wore corseted full skirted dresses accessorized with high ponytails, chunky heeled pumps adorned with flat bows and a slew of structured handbags.
This Louis Vuitton show provided a amazing backdrop to display the bags. This season, it’s a zillion mignonne reinterpretations of the classic Speedy. Here, that functional shape, designed in the 1930′s, came flocked and sequined, smothered in guipure lace over satin, or woven in metallic thread and done up in fox.
